i can solve one for you...other is quite similar

a. let the points be A and B respectively

Now, by distance formula

l(AB)=[(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2]^0.5

       =[(0-6)^2+(-8-20)^2]^0.5

       =[36+784]^0.5

       =[820]^0.5

       =28.63 units

its simple u see!!!
