I would wait a day for her..... She just moved let her get confy.

  2. Id say No because 1. Russian hamsters are VERY fast and if u lose it is VERY hard to catch. 2. Let it get used to you its probably very confused. 3. Just watch it play for a couple of days and feed t food by hand it will start trusting you!

Remember..... A good relationship with your hamster is to give it clean hospitality!

  3. I probably would hold off untill tommorow of at least give her a few more hours to settle in.  introduce yourself slowly.  Put your hand in and let her get to recognize your scent.  once she checks your hand out its probably safe to play with her.

  4. Ive never heard of a black russian hamster but I know its a really good drink. I'd either drink it or leave it alone for a day but I still think I'd sing to it very softly either way. Cant hurt. Congrats on being a new parent!

  5. No!

leave her alone for atleast a day to get settled in.

    then introduce yourself slowly.

dont just pull her out and expect her to play with you.

    she wil be scared shitless.

  6. As stated above, let her get settled into her cage first. Give her 24 hours or more. This will give her time to adjust to new sights and sounds both inside and outside of her new home. The noises of your house will probably make her a little nervous at first, you see.

When you want to hold her, take it slowly. Don't just go and grab her right away. Lay your hand in the cage and let her have a sniff. Offer her a treat so that she feels less threatened. Carefully does it with hamsters. If not, they can behave badly.
