Negative pregnancy test?

How common is it to get a negative result from a pregnancy test when you are 3 days late?? Has anyone experienced this before??

i would wait a little longer when i believed i was prego with my son 2 were neg and 1 pos.

If do not use the first pee, in early pregnancy you can get a false negative

It's really rare to get a negative result once late, because the pregnancy hormone will become present. But there are two tests usually provided in the packet, so make sure you take the other test to make sure you didn't make a mistake the first time (re-read the instructions. Oftentimes, you need like a 5 second flow). But if you did everything right, I highly doubt your pregnant.
