Negative pregnancy tests?

How long has it taken you moms out there to get past a negative pregnancy test? I am on day 10 of being late and still neg on the test. The dr wont do a blood test until I have a positive urine test. I have never been this late, am 31 yrs old, have not been on birth control, haven't been sick. I was just wondering about the moms who got neg on the pregnancy tests and how long it took for the test to become positive for them.

your dr is a jerk.  just have him order you a blood test.  

or

just lie and say you got a positive. its not like he will ask to see the stick.

i got mine the first day late... i find it strange your doctor is waiting on a positive urine test. there will be no need for a blood test if you get a positive preg test the traditional way.

i would maybe go see a new doctor and request one

I was two days late when I tested positive.

But of course, everyone is different.  Some can test before their period is due and be positive, while others may have to wait until weeks into the pregnancy to get a result.

after one month from the last beriod will show you positive if you are pregnant but if not wait for your beriod sometimes it happen like this not worries.
