Negotiating in Pro Evolution Soccer 2008?

I'm trying to negotiate in getting Lionel Messi from Barcelona. I'm willing to trade Riiise and from the conditions I see, it seems they want:

21480 Transfer Points

1790 Estimated Salary

I've met those conditions several times and I even have the salary of Riise to be just 1000. The contract years are 5 and I think it's a good deal, yet I get denied every time. It keeps saying negotiations are broken down. is there something I'm missing?

There is one thing you have to understand. In PES, teams don't let go certain players easily. Messi is the most important player in barca which is why they don't wanna let him go that easily. like once I was trying to get Cristiano Ronaldo from man u, I tried like 7 times and they still refused. and then I found out, when you raise your offer, sometimes it works. I ended up paying 50000 pes for him with a salary of 3400 pes. I hope you have lots of pes cuz sometimes, you'll have to propose the maximum amount to be able to get such players which is 59999 pes. sometimes they won't even accept so all you can do is hope they will. so good luck!!!
