Neighbor sunbathes nude ?

My next door neighbor not only sunbathes in the nude in his yard, but walks around in his yard, does the gardening in the nude, comes up to the fence and tries to converse with me etc, all in the nude. I understand it's the summer and he can do as he pleases on his property, but I don't like it one bit, it's VERY uncomfortable. I have 2 young daughters, ages 5 and 8, and I now do not allow them to play in the yard when he is out, because I feel it's wrong to expose children to that and they were also quite disturbed by it the last time.

I honestly don't know what to do, my husband suggested to put up a big fence, but the other neighbors signed a petition against it, so we cant do that.

Do you have any advice? I've tried talking to him but he just laughs it off. He's a nice man, and we do get on, but I don't like what he does, I think it's disrespectful.

This is totally illegal..him knowing that young children are around is getting real close to pedaphelia..It is illegal to do so anyway if visible to anyone..not just children but anyone can visually see this..it is indecent exposure..I would literaly kik his arz if he was exposing himself to my old lady, and on that walking up to the fence to do so...You have asked him politely, now use the local authorities to do so...I believe even worse so..if he was making it to where my children could see him..I would do more than a good ole fashion wood shedding.. He might not walk away from this

Turn the homeowners association on him. Or call the cops. That has got to be some kind of illegal. Like, indecent exposure to children or public nudity or something.

I'm not an expert,but I think it's against the law to expose yourself in public,even on your property. At the very least,he's being

inconsiderate,nice or not.

You may want to consider bringing the police into this to talk to him,or talking to a lawyer to discuss your options. Your daughters should be able to play in their own yard without having to look at the strange naked man.

Why are you even asking this question?  Is this a joke?  It is clearly against the law.  Call the police.  Take a photo with your cell phone and show it to the police.

Sorry to say this, but there's nothing you can do. He has the right to tan naked in his backyard (I do it all the time). If your daughters can see him its too bad. You CAN tell him not to talk to you naked, and get the police involved if he doesn't (very drastic and will ruin your relationship with him), but thats about it. At least you don't have to put up with a drunk living next door like I do.

Clearly convey your feelings to your nudist neighbour. If he doesn't change his ways, convince your neighbours on why the fence is necessary.... If nothing can be done I guess call your local police department..maybe the will give him the talk...
