Neighbors flowers dead?

I was supposed to be watering my neighbors flowers monday (today) to Friday. My neighbor called early this morning and asked how the watering went yesterday. She told me to start watering them today a week ago, so I told her it went okay and nothing was wrong, even though I didn't exactly do it because she didnt tell me to. I walked over to my neighbors house yo water them today and they all looked good except for 2 patches of them that looked droopy and basically dead. Do you think that they will come back if I water them enough or what should I do? I dont want my neighbors thinking I killed their plants!

  1. try it, they may be fine.

  2. Soak them thoroughly and hope for the best.  If they're just droopy, a good soaking should perk them up and she'll never know, but keep watering them.

  3. They might be okay but, don't lose your head and start to over water them. Plants can recover easier from under watering than over watering.

If the leaves are still pliable I think they will be fine. If not, then tell her that you were not aware that she wanted you to water them and you are sorry.

  4. hello if when watering any garden with any type of flower in it has no effect on the health of the plant then its because the water is running over the top of the bed and going somewhere else if one lot of flowers are ok and the other section isnt stick your fingers into the soil next to to the healthy plants and you will feel dampness.

the flowers that have drooped need a few holes pierced into the soil for the water to seep in, then the droopiness will go away.after about half an hour, cheers peter.
