my neighbour who actually looks like David Cameron (Ttory leader) was BANGING on my door not happy that my grass had overgrown in my backgarden, puffing Ishould mow it or he'll give me a lawnmower 2 do it, but do it.

Theres no legislation stating having an overgrown garden is antisocial?

just checking, does anyone know?

  1. I don't know for sure I think the local community can request that you cut it or tidy up but don't think they can enforce it. If you don't want a neighbor from h**l then do it. on the other hand tell him if it bothers him so much hes welcome to do it. I think its up to you its your garden.

  2. Depending upon where you live, some neighborhoods have  organizations/associations or ordinances that state that you must keep your lawn/yard in a certain condition.  (Some people don't want the "value" of their house to be driven down because of their neighbor's unkempt property.)

If your neighborhood doesn't have those rules/regulations, your neighbor his just being a jerk (because he wants your property to look as good as his so yours doesn't affect his property value or make it look like he lives in a bad neighborhood).
