Neighbours Garden Wall! Legal Stuff!!?

Well I've got a garden wall. And a tree has damaged it.

It's not my tree, but my neighbours. Who is responsible for the repair of the wall?

Should he claim on his insurance, or me on mine??

The neighbors tree caused the damage, he is responsible.  To be a good neighbor, you could offer to pay 1/2 the deductable on the fence repair though.  Get his insurance info, call your insurance & let them fight it out.

You have to claim on your Insurance. Do it as soon as possible.

You make the initial claim on your house insurance and they negotiate with your neighbour's insurance company on your behalf.
