I would not like to be Neil Lennon on a nightout in Glasgow, it is mad enough without being a hate figure to orangemen.

  1. It's not fair, why should you be terrorised for doing your job?

And it's not his fault he's Irish is it - its a fcuking joke, these people arent football fans, they're trouble making scum!!

  2. This isnt the first time he has been assualted begause of his race, but why is anyone surprised when the British have been treating the irish like this for 800 Years and whenever they have the "gall" to defend themselves you call them terrorists. I had to spend 3 hours on a plane with a a britishman i work with who preceded to give me a 2 hour lecture on how the Irish ruined there own country and it was for there own good that they were treated like slaves and second class citizens because they are of a Different race and religion. He even had the nerve to blame the Irish for starting the troubles. If Britain is ever going to save itself from imploding it has to realize and admit its problem with racism and arrogance.

  3. so you believe in the hype it was sectarian do you..i was told, by someone in the club, that it was over a girl..i suppose anything to detract away from the poor performance on field...

don't really think the celtic site would give any other reasons adele...that he tried to get away with someones girlfriend for instance.....the car thing was way ott..but then again so was the wee lassie in motherwell who got jumped whilst wearing a rangers top..was that rangers fans too...then again it probably was eh

  4. why dya sa they were orangemen? did they have their sashes and bowler hats on? i dont think so mate. maybe they were just idiots. but then again so is lennon i dont think he is an angel. dya actually know the full facts and what exactly happened.

  5. like the huns would even look at balde he wud kill them

  6. Your point makes no sense.

The same thing could stand for any Rangers team member, or anyone associated with Rangers, who is in the media spotlight going for a night out in Glasgow, would they not be a hate figure to all the Celtic fans??

  7. Celtic's own site have put out a statement....

it was following sectarian abuse...doubt if that was Celtic fans but who knows? just hope if it was Rangers fans their own site also put out a statement and ban them for life from Ibrox...same with the idiots who smashed a car up with a woman and 2 young children inside it just cos one of the boys wore a Celtic top....mindless, but I guess that will be denied too.

  8. These orange' utangs should be lashed in Public,  it would save time and tax payers money, a progressive society has no time for these neanderthalls now....

  9. He has been a bampot and he does himself no favours sometimes but no one deserves death threats for playing football for your biggest rivals or because he prays a different way......that surely says more about his attackers and society than it does about him. We've all reacted to something badly and we've all done silly things but you grow up and move on, Lennon has been persecuted since his arrival in Glasgow and has had to live under an immense strain and why ??? Simply because he's a fenian from the six counties, who took immense pride in playing for his country but had the audacity to play for his boyhood heroes....the Celtic !!! What on earth is the crime !!! His main crime seems to be his Catholicism !!!! What a wee fecked up nation we've become if this is the reality of life in Scotland today !!! People go on about mad muslims, what goes on here is exactly the same only without the car bombs every second day ! Scotland is never gonna be mature enough to handle Independence....too many bampots still think it's the 17th century !!! A proud multicultural society with free thought, free expression of religion, free speech, acceptance and understanding is what we should be all about, not blindly hating someone because they go to a different church or support a different team.....that's just dragging us right back !!!  I seem to recall Barry Ferguson, Ally McCoist, Ian Durrant, Gazza, Terry Butcher, Graeme Roberts, Graeme Souness, Derek Ferguson, Robert Fleck, Ian Ferguson, Terry Hurlock, Andy Goram (the worst offender...remember him in front of the UVF banner ?) and many more who behaved as badly as Lennon or worse at some point in their careers !!! Lennon has at least got the excuse that as a Catholic in the North of Ireland he's faced persecution and vilification all his life !!!  How would you feel if the boot was on the other foot ???  People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones !!!  Have a pointy thing x

  10. Maybe if he did not go around referring to folk as 'dirty orange b@stards' and such like, he would not be as a much of a target ?  If in doubt, Google it.

I will not defend whoever attacked him, but why do you assume that it was a Rangers fan/Orangeman, or do you think they are one and the same ?

Trouble follows Lennon around, surely he should be aware of the situation in Glasgow by now ?

Neil Lennon gave Rangers fans the V-sign from an open window at Ibrox, after Celtic had won there.  So please drop the wee innocent bit, the guy is his own worst enemy, sadly once again it would seem that somebody saw fit to attack him.
