  1. after the gold rush

as much influence as dylan had on music, everything neil young crushes everything bob dylan

  2. Hmm....two of my favorite artists head to head. Well, I'll go with After The Gold Rush because it's one of the most beautiful songs ever written sung by one of the sweetest voices. The music is brilliant.

  3. After the Gold Rush

  4. Bob Dylan!!!!!!!!!!

  5. neil young

  6. Knockin On Heavens Door...Actually used it as my wedding song.

  7. I can name about 150 Bob Dylan songs i prefer over Knockin On Heavens Door. Not sure why you're comparing these two, it's a weak Bob Dylan track.

  8. Neil Young's "After the Gold Rush"

  9. I'll go with Neil on this one ~ never much cared for that Dylan song...

  10. "Gold Rush".  I prefer Dylan as an artist, but I like the song "Gold Rush" more than "Knockin'".

  11. Neil Young...

You switched it up on me Paperbag Writer! I love In Rainbows as well! Weird Fishes and House of Cards are my favs from that album.

  12. Well, I'm the biggest Dylan fan around, one way or another, but got to go with Neil Young's "After the Goldrush" on this Q. I've got nothing against "Knockin'  .  .  ." but it's a short and simple song (not necessarily a bad thing), written as part of a simple movie soundtrack, while "A.T.G." blows me away - it might be my favorite Neil Young song if I was to look at songs that way. love the writing, love the singing, love the feel.

  13. Antony Hegarty's version of "Knocking On Heaven's Door" in a cathedral probably might make me bless myself again.Neil and Bob have sung their song many, many times....But,not like This.

  14. "After The Gold Rush" moves me far more. The message is timeless even though it speaks of the seventies. Wow, thanks for reminding me of this little gem!

  15. Knockin' on Heaven's Door.
