Neitz to captain Melbourne....thoughts?

Question

I think its a wise decision by Melbourne and he will be backed up by 4-5 other players in leadship roles.

He will earn the respect of the younger players as he is a champion for the team and a nice guy.

David Neitz is universally respected! He deserves it, and lets hope he has a good, injury free year. Im a blues man, but have always liked Neitz.( Even though he regularly kicks bags of 8 or 9 against us). He is a fantastic leader!

to me he is the only man for the job, he has the respect of the players, so why not, he leads by example, honest,tough player, thumping kick for goal too, yeah i'd say that its a good decision.

Hes too old and its his last season, get someone young to take over like what James Hird did in his last year of playing footy.
