Nellie/Neely Johnson??

Question

My grandfather told me that his grandmother name was Neelie Johnson but I cant find any info on her.She had many children but my grandmother was Recell Johnson but was known as Recell Protifield or Portifield after she got married.Recell was born around 1910.Neelie is from SC.I dont know if she was married.Any info on her parents, her husband or lover, or her would be great.

According to this census, Neelie is widowed and listed as a farmer.  The birthplaces are all listed as South Carolina, including the birthplace of the childrens father.  

Here is the 1920 census...  It discloses the name of the father, Whitfield Johnson.

Here is the family in 1910 .  Judging from the ages of the children, Nellie must have been a second wife.  The census says that they were only married two years, putting their marriage date in 1908 or sometime thereabouts
