Kurban Berdyev has hailed Salomon Rondon, admitting that the Venezuelan striker impressed him during his side’s 2-0 win over Dynamo Moscow on Sunday.
Rubin Kazan head coach, Kurban Berdyev, has confirmed that the Kazan-based club are looking for offers and are keen to offload Nelson Valdez during the ongoing summer transfer window.
News in Russian media had linked that the Paraguayan forward to Newell’s Old Boys last month. However, the player’s agent had ruled out his client’s move after the Argentine club failed to meet Valdez’s wage demands.
If speculations are to be believed, Rubin are negotiating with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 over the sale of the striker. One of the main reasons for his departure is the fact that there his children are experiencing difficulty with their studies
as Kazan does not have a bilingual school.
The Tatary are reportedly negotiating over the player’s transfer fee, who has scored three goals in 17 appearances last season.
“It is quite possible that Nelson will be leaving this summer. He and his family are having some problems in the school. There are many schools for Hispanics in Moscow but Kazan does not have this facility. This, unfortunately,
has become a problem for us. So, I think he is ready to leave the club.” The Russian Cup winner was quoted as saying.
Valdez’s departure, however, will not affect Rubin on a large scale as Berdyev has already signed his replacement earlier this month.
The Kazan-based club have signed Salomon Rondon for a reported fee of ten million pounds from Malaga. The 22-year-old, who scored eleven goals last season, signed a four-year contract with the Russian outfit.
Berdyev praised the Venezuelan striker, who came off the bench during the second-half in Rubin’s 2-0 win against Dynamo Moscow at home, insisting that Rondon fits his style of play and they have signed a quality player in him.
“Rondon has all the necessary ingredients that are needed to be a top striker in our championship. He had a good game. He’s still not ready yet. But, of course, he will get only better with each game," he concluded.
