The Paraguayan striker has revealed the reasons behind leaving the Russian Premier League club in a bid to join Valencia this summer
Nelson Valdez has left Rubin Kazan to join La-Liga outfit, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863, on a season long loan spell with a heavy heart, saying that it was one of the toughest decisions he has made in his life.
Valdez had no choice but to leave the Kazan-based club as the city does not have a bilingual school for his children. So, the Paraguayan striker, who still has two-years left on his contract, has joined the Spanish outfit on loan
with an option to make a permanent switch.
However some reports in Russian media suggest that the 28-year-old forward, who joined Rubin from Hercules for a reported 7 million Euros fee last summer, decided to leave the Russian outfit along with his family after failing
to settle in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991.
The former Borussia Dortmund player enjoyed regular football for the Russian outfit, having scored three goals in seventeen Russian Premier League appearances last season. Valdez, meanwhile, has started three games for the Volzhane
this season.
“I am happy with the team and the city. But the problem was the Spanish-language school. So, my family planned not to take any risk on my daughter’s education. So, I had to stay here alone, without family.”
“I really like the team that Rubin have assembled this summer. When I first came, I made friends with Spanish-speaking players, but now I communicate closely with all of the players and club personnel.”
“All the guys at the club are very friendly and it is more like a real football family. For this reason, I am very sorry to leave Kazan.”  The Bundesliga winner was quoted as saying.
Valdez went on to thank Kurban Berdyev, the manager, saying that Berdyev is a great coach, who backed his decision to make a temporary switch and allowed him to play in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011.
The Paraguayan International admitted that he enjoyed a decent spell with the Russian outfit, having won the Russian Cup and the Russian Super Cup during his stay.
