The Manchester United captain has admitted that he will take some time to regain full fitness in the English Premier League but it will come through pre-season training with the former league champions...
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nemanja-Vidic-c27550 has come out and admitted that he will take some time to reach the levels of fitness that he experienced before his knee injury for Manchester United. The Serbian centre back has been a solid figure of stability at
the back for the Red Devils over the past half a decade but he got injured last December in their crucial UEFA Champions League tie against F.C Basel in the group stages of the competition.
The Manchester United talisman suffered a knee injury which has kept him out of competitive action for the Red Devils since then but as the new Premier League season draws closer, Vidic is determined to play a vital role in yet
another league campaign for Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Manchester United manager handed Vidic the captain’s armband in the past for his fantastic performances for the Reds and now with his captain making a comeback, United will indeed aim to challenge Manchester City and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786
in the next league season for the title crown.
United lost the league title race to City last season despite finishing level on points with the Citizens. Sir Alex Ferguson’s men lost out to an inferior goal difference which became the cause of their eventual downfall.
Vidic said, "After eight months without a game it's obvious that you have to get used to your positioning. Fitness-wise it's not as it will be in a few weeks but my knee felt well and hopefully the next game will be better.”
He added, "I knew I would be out for six months. I tried to make the best of it and when I came back wanted to be the same as I was before the injury. That was my target. We'll see how good a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 I did in that six months."
Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 will be glad that Vidic is be competing for Manchester United in the English Premier League next season as the Red Devils did suffer tremendously without his presence at the club as they relied on young, in-experienced
talents such as Evans and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Phil-Jones-c29903.
