Manchester United centre-back Nemanja Vidic, has expressed his desire to win trophies with the Red Devils. According to him it would be a dream come true if United are able to complete a double this season. He also wished to beat Barcelona in the final of
the UEFA Champions League if both the teams make it to final.
Talking to a local sports channel, the defender said that he feels really proud of leading Sir Alex Ferguson’s side and would love to take revenge of 2009 Champions League where they were defeated by Barcelona.
Vidic was handed the responsibility of leading Manchester United at the beginning of the campaign and has led his side to the top of the Premier League. He also took his side into the semi-finals of the Champions League where they defeated Schalke 04 in

The proud captain further told, "Obviously it's a dream to be the captain, especially at such a big club as Manchester United and lift the trophy. This is the dream of any footballer. To be honest, as a player, I never dreamed I could go that far. To play
for such a big club and to be the captain is like something that happens in a dream, and I'm enjoying it."
He also commented upon the possibility of Barcelona-United final and mentioned that his team are well prepared to take on Josep Guardiola’s side. He claimed that United are better equipped than before to take on the Catalan giants and mentioned that he couldn’t
wait to lift the silverware.
The 29-year-old concluded by saying, "Just playing in the final is an incredible feeling. But to lift the trophy at Wembley as United captain would be the pinnacle of my career. It would be a dream come true,” added Vidic. In a final, you remember the way

Manchester United will next take on Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal in the League on Sunday, May 1 before they host Schalke in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday, May 4.
