The Paris Saint-Germain winger is currently nursing an injury but has hinted that he will move to a club which allows him to be close to his family
Currently out injured, Paris Saint-Germain winger, Nene spoke to Brazilian media in order to discuss hi situation and also spoke about the arrival of Brazil international Lucas Moura. The former AS Monaco star’s contract with the Parisian club is in its
final year and so far, there are no signs of a new contract any time soon.
As the issue of his contract remains open to debate, Nene might consider leaving the cash-laden side in order to start the final chapter of his career that promised so much but brought little. The winger’s family is currently living in Sao http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858
and Nene has hinted that his next move would be based on this.
“I want to be closer to my children (who live in Sao Paulo). Brazilian football has also changed, now it pays better and can offer good conditions for a player. They say that I am a wandering soul, but all I do is think about the best for my career and my
life.”
Sidelined due to injury, the former Monaco man is hopeful to return to training next week. Not playing for his national team is Nene’s biggest regret and the player is still hoping for a chance to wear the colours of Selecao before he retires.
“Mano Menezes seems to have found a good formula with the player he selects. Everyone hopes to see his name appear in a game. I will continue to fight because it is the work at the club that earns you a call-up.”
The winger then spoke about the much-awaited arrival of Sao Paulo starlet http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Moura-c26908 next January. The youngster who snubbed Manchester United in favour of a move to Parc des Princes, will compete with Nene for a place in the starting XI and the PSG star
is full of praise for the youngster.
“Most important thing is that the boy was quiet, it will help him in his adaptation. Lucas is a player with great technique and explosiveness. And unlike many players, he can also score goals,” said Nene thus confirming that he is happy at the arrival of
Brazil’s next future star.
