After not being offered a new contract by Paris Saint-Germain, the Brazilian winger has agreed to stay at Parc des Princes one more season

For the last two summers, Brazilian winger Nene has been under the spotlight. Last year, the Brazilian managed to hold his own when Paris Saint-Germain secured the services of Argentine international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082 from Italian Serie A side, Palermo.
Constantly spied on by the media, the Brazilian still managed to have a good 2011/2012 campaign. However, since then, the former AS Monaco star has managed to swallow his pride. Since the summer transfer started, the former Monaco man has seen his current
club refuse to extend his contract which expires in 2013.
The most productive attacker for PSG in the last two campaigns, Nene has taken this lack of recognition very badly and soon, rumours started emerging. However, despite so many clubs interested in him, nothing has been done.
Paris Saint-Germain are not really keen on letting go of Nene and while talking to media, Carlo Ancelotti said that the Brazilian is not going to be sold this summer.
“Technically, he was a  big place in this team. But you must make him realise that like all his teammates, there will be nights when I ask him to sit on the bench.”
And according to L’Equipe, Nene has reportedly agreed to accept the wishes of the club. the sports daily claims that the native of Jundai has decided not leave Le Parc des Princes this summer, unless the club receives a stupendous offer from an interested
club.
Recognising the rise of Les Parisiens, Nene wants to have a personal cabinet, filled with trophies. At the age of 31, the winger knows that he needs to stay at a club where he can have the guarantee of winning some silverware before he retires. At PSG, Nene
will have a great chance of winning things and thus, his decision to stay at the club is a valid one.
Nene has also accepted that he will never claim for a place in the starting XI and will be willing to fight for his place, much to the delight of the club’s management.
