The Paris Saint-Germain star chose to spoke about his performances for the club and also spoke about his future which has been in the spotlight in recent weeks
Brazilian winger, Nene is currently Paris Saint-Germain’s topscorer in the league with 16 goals and seven assists to his name. The former AS Monaco star is 31-years-old and is reaching the twilight years of his career.
In recent weeks, the Brazilian has come under the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Blamed for being too individualistic and then blamed for being the trouble maker in chief, it seems likely that the winger would be offloaded in the summer transfer window.
Carlo Ancelotti is keen on adding more depth and young blood to the squad and would be willing to sacrifice the best player of the team for the future.
While talking to the media, Nene returned to the Nancy Lorraine episode back in March when he openly showed his annoyance at sitting out of the game. The Brazilian says that he reacted badly and needs to be careful.
“I find it hard to keep things to myself. If I stay on the bench, I feel like I am worthless and that irritates me. I reacted badly. I apologized and I’ll be careful.”
In the 1-1 draw against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kevin-Gameiro-c20721 and Nene says that he did not have time to look up for a pass.
Nene is adamant that he is a proud person and says that he has always been working hard in training.
Knowing that his future is not secure at the club, Nene said that he is not sure about what happens in the future and added that he hopes to stay at the club for a long time.
“My agents have spoken with him (http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056) but we’ll see after the Championnat. We must stay focused. We have time. I am very well here and I hope to stay much longer,” says the Brazilian.
Though he wants to stay at the club, it seems unlikely that Ancelotti would want to keep him given that PSG will have a lot of options in the upcoming summer transfer window.
