After intense negotiations with Galatasaray and Besiktas, the Brazilian winger has finally decided to stay at Parc des Princes for at least the first half of the campaign
Turkish Super Lig side, Besiktas tried in vain to acquire the services of Brazilian winger Nene. The 31-year-old is currently under contract at Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain. The former AS Monaco man’s place in the PSG starting XI is not guarantee this
time around following the club’s spending spree in the summer transfer window.

On the last day of the transfer market, PSG and the Istanbul club did reach an agreement over the player. However, according to Le Parisien, the player has made his own decision which is that he will stay at Parc des Princes.
Reports claim that Besiktas and Turkish champions, Galatasaray were keen on Nene’s services and both clubs were also close to an agreement with PSG over the transfer fee. However, the 31-year-old Brazilian refused to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
Many PSG fans are anxious to see the club’s topscorer again this season and it seems that they will be able to do so.
It is believed that PSG did not want to lose the services of Nene too as it would have been difficult for the cash-laden club to hire a new offensive player on such a short notice.
