A key part in Paris Saint-Germain’s squad this season, Brazilian winger Nene says that he excited about the possibility of teaming up with Carlos Tevez this winter and also wants to be offered a new contract
Few old charges at Paris Saint-Germain can claim to have resisted the influx of reinforcements made by Paris Saint-Germain last summer. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mamadou-Sakho-c23293 and Nene are the only two players who could be considered as indisputable starters of the pre-Qatari PSG.
The departure of Antoine Kombouare and arrival of Carlo Ancelotti has not changed a thing for the duo. Carlo Ancelotti has certainly designated the duo for specific roles in which they have so far flourished. Nene in particular, has shown great adaptability
to the new formation.
However, with more players to arrive at the Parc des Princes, one can only wonder how long Nene can remain undisputed. Such is the state of football these days that everything can change quickly.
Among those future arrivals, one could be Manchester City man http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez. In a space of three days, PSG are now leading the race to sign a striker who has been banished from the City side. However, Nene was full of praised for the Argentine international
while talking to TV Bandeirantes.
“He is a great player. If he actually comes, it will be very good. I’m sure the it will help us and he would be an added strength. He is intelligent and technical. He is fantastic. This is an elegant player who never gives up,” said the Apache.
While talking about Ancelotti’s impact, Nene said that though his methods are different from what he was used to, he likes playing under the Italian as he gives players a lot of freedom.
Under contract at PSG until 2013, Nene’s future could come under scrutiny this summer especially if he faces competition from within the squad. However, the winger is keen on staying at the club for a long time.
“My contract runs until 2013 with Paris. I would like to extend it for another three years but I do not know what will happen.”
However, Nene would also be happy to finish his football career at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santos-c32532 – two teams he played with before coming to Europe.
