Neon Sweet Sixteen?

Question

So I pretty much want my party to be a neon sweet sixteen.

Im going to have around 150 people too.

I need ideas for decorations, favors, food.. etc.

I also am deciding on what to wear since I want my outfit out of the ordinary! Im not sure if it should be formal or not.

Dont go formal, make its 80's rave themed, or somethign along those lines, i did it for my 16th and it worked great, just tell people theyre not allowed in unless theyre in neon colours. then u know everyone will do it!.

I also bought a load of neon ribbon for people who werent bright enough to tie round their arms and put in their hair etc.

Food wise, hmm, im not sure...ice pops? cheeryade, limeade etc..

Fruitsalad sounds fun?? lots of colours there.

Make sure to grab plenty of those colored glow sticks (like you find at Halloween) - you can get them at dollar stores and party supply places all year though. Hand those out to everybody at the party so they can make necklaces or braclets out of them. Have lots of black lights too!

Ok, neon? awesome.

So the best thing to have is a neon room. Like make the walls glow neon by using fluro paint or white paint. Make big splatters everywhere, good to use sheets or large pieces of material. Then put a neon light in there so everything will glow. NOTE: make up looks scary under neon lights. I went to a neon room at an 18th the othr day and eeveryone was red with foundation.

But have a prize for a person who comes in the most fluro outfit or a complety white outfit that will glow in the dark with neon lighting.

Food. Lollies are best. Have differnet colours. Then just get the standard pizza and junk. maybe have differnet colour sodas for drinks.

150 people is a lot, so make sure you have good music for everyone to dance to or areas people can hang out. You dont want people to get bored (like the one I went to the other day) and keep everyone entertained.

I love neon things to. I don't think you should make it formal.

For food you should have neon cupcakes or cookies you can guy neon food coloring I have used it before it looks really nice or you could just get a bakery to make them for you.
