Neon car light laws in ontario

i am working on my car and i really want to put nean lights under my car but i can't find the laws and where and i live in ontario so please i need help either the laws or a website that has the laws but remeber i live in ontario

having neon anywhere on your car is illegal in Canada im almost positive....

In Ontario, Canada You may not modify your cars lighting system in anyway.. If and when they inspect your car they have the right to pull your plates if the light are not as they came from the factory.

I believe that you can have auxiliary  and neon lights but they cannot be hooked up to a power source when you are driving the car.

You can try the Ontario government website and go to the Dept. of Transport section. Or you can visit you local license office.

hey, i live in ontario. anyways, i've seen a few cars in ontario with neon lights but not too many. i'm not exactly sure if its illegal or not, but i'm not sure why it sohuld be illegal. your best bet is to find the number to your local police station and ask them (do not call 911). you can find their number in the local yellow pages.
