Neon lights under car law in rhode island?

Im pretty sure there illegal to drive w/ on but if they pull you over will they take them, make you take them off or just make you turn them off. Is there any kind of fine? If you dont know the law in RI just tell me what the law is where you are

Here in NJ, they a legal if they are amber.

White is legal only if they are NOT visible from the rear of the vehicle.

Red is legal if they are ONLY visible from the rear.

No other color is allowed.

They may not flash or blink.

Most states have similar rules.

Why not just call the police department and ask them?

They're bound to give you a better answer than what you get in here.

It doesn't matter what the law is anywhere else; it might not be the same in RI.

If you're pretty sure they're illegal, then why risk having them in the first place?  Jeez, use your brain, dude.

They are not illegal to have on the car while you are sitting in a parking lot or fast food place but you cannot drive with them on while on the road and also you cannot have red or blues neon lights at all........
