Neon under lights law in Rhode Island?

Im pretty sure there illegal to drive w/ on but if they pull you over will they take them, make you take them off or just make you turn them off. Is there any kind of fine? If you dont know the law in RI just tell me what the law is where you are

  1. umm the lights are illegal here when there on and ur driving.. but arnt when ur parked.. it depends how nice the cop is.. they might just give u a big fine and tell u to take tehem off ur self.. some might rip them off and still get u with you the fine.. if there super nice(which i highly doubt) they will give u a warning..
