A 5-wicket haul from Basanta Regmi, followed by stellar batting performances from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gyanendra-Malla-c61015 and Subash Khakurel, enabled Nepal to continue their unbeaten run in the ICC World Cricket League Division Four 2012, and demolish the United States of America
by 8 wickets during the tournament final played at the Kinrara Academy Oval in Kuala Lumpur on September 10.
With both teams having already progressed to Division 3, the final offered them the chance to be crowned winners of the ICC World Cricket League Division Four 2012 – a title which Nepal went on to claim.
“The team did just what was needed here and deserved to win,” said Nepal head coach http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pubudu-Bathiya-Dassanayake-c82746. “... the goal was always to get this team up to a chance of qualifying for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 and this Division 4 win now means we're one
step closer. There's a lot more hard work to do but I'm delighted with the progress so far.”
The USA won the toss and elected to bat first, but Nepal’s http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Basanta-Regmi-c47424 (9.1-2-20-5) put in a performance which saw him winning the Player of the Match award, in addition to the Player of the Series award for his 21 scalps at an average of 6.66 throughout

up a 21-run partnership with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Timroy-Patrick-Allen-c94099 (10), after which the latter fell prey to Gauchan.
A promising 33-run stand between Baker and Ryan Corns (9) came to an end with the dismissal of both batsmen in the 45th over at the hands of Basanta Regmi, who then went off to polish off the rest of the batting order, trapping both Elmore Hutchinson
(2) and Usman Shuja (2) lbw, to cut the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Usa-c759 off at 145, all out, by the 49th over.

93-run partnership, which got Nepal up to 102 by the 20th over.
Malla fell prey to a delivery by Muhammad Ghous, but skipper Khadka (25*) took it up from there, joining Khakurel for an unbeaten 45-run stand which saw Nepal safely home. Reaching 147 with 8 wickets and 132 deliveries remaining, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nepal-c2965 emerged as the champions
