Valery Nepomniachi has tipped the Russian outfit to play the Japanese starlet more often to get a decent resale value
It has been a busy January transfer window for CSKA Moscow, as they have signed Pontus Wernbloom, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VVV-Venlo-c40915, Gangneung City and AZ Alkmaar, respectively.
However they have failed to offload their star attacking midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Keisuke-Honda-c20516, to S.S Lazio during the transfer window.
The transfer reportedly failed to materialize over the Moscow-based club’s asking price, as they turned down http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775’s repeated bids, demanding a bid in the region of 20 million Euros.
The former Spartak Samarkand player, Valery Nepomniachi, has bemoaned the situation and tipped the Moscow-based club to give Honda more playing time if they are to get a decent amount for the Japanese playmaker.
Nepomniachi went on to highlight Honda’s career at Luzhniki stadium. He opined that the prolific midfielder has helped the Koni and cited his first season with the the Russian outfit.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Shanghai-Shenhua-c40497 manager admitted that the Russian Cup winner struggled the following season, and highlighted his injury record.
“I cannot say whether CSKA are better without him. But I think they won’t get what they are asking right now if they keep him on the bench.” Nepomniachi was quoted as saying.
Honda, whose contract will expire at the end of the next season, is equally unhappy with the situation. He has reiterated his desire to leave the Luzhniki stadium at the end of the ongoing Russian Premier League season.
"As my contract with CSKA starts to run out, more clubs will show their interest. It's true that I was looking forward to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 but things didn't work out with Lazio, this time around.
“But there may be an even brighter future in store for me. My goals haven't changed and I don't intend to change them.” Honda concluded.
Reports in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 suggest that Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan are still interested in signing the 25-year-old. The veteran midfielder urged the interested parties to wait until the summer transfer window.
