Neptune's Salad recipe?

Question

My little nephew just loves this dish, does anyone have a good recipe? Also, I am not a big fan of the imitation crab sticks so could I use real crab? I think that would affect the texture and "gourmet" it up. He's just 4 yrs old.

There are a million different recipes for that salad!  Some are pasta salad, some appetizer salad, just search it and pick one you like.  I typed in "neptune salad recipe crab" and got some good ones:

Neptune Pasta Salad

Ingredients:

1 pk Betty Crocker Suddenly Salad

-Caesar mix

3 tb Vegetable oil

1/4 c Cold water

1 pk (8 oz.) frozen seafood

-flakes (imitation crabmeat)

-thawed

1 1/2 c Broccoli flowerets

Instructions:

Prepare salad as directed on package, using oil and water.

Stir seafood flakes and broccoli into salad

fresh crab would be devine in this! I also use small shrimp

1 pound pollock (cubed)

1/4 cup chopped onions

1/4 cup chopped celery

1/4 cup chopped olives

1 small can peas, drained

6 ounces shredded cheddar cheese

mayo, as needed

salt and pepper

Directions:

Mix together all ingredients adding enough mayo until desired consistency is reached. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Neptune Crab Salad

Ingredients:

1 pound lump crab meat

1 hard cooked egg (sliced)

1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

1/2 cup cooked peas

1/4 cup diced sweet pickles

1/2 cup chopped celery

lettuce

Preparation Instructions:

Combine crab meat, egg, celery, peas, pickles and mayonnaise, and toss lightly. Serve on lettuce leaves and garnish with additional egg slices and paprika.
