Nerlinger confident of successful second-half
Bayern Munich Sporting Director Christian Nerlinger is sure that the club will continue the winning run and is aiming for the Bundesliga at the end of the season.
The Munich giants have been sensational since the start of the season and are leading the league table ahead of the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Schalke. The former German champions are one of the favourites to win the DFB-Pokal
and the UEFA Champions League also.
The Sporting Director insisted that he is confident that Bayern will continue their dominance in the second-half of the season and will challenge for the major honours. He claimed that the Bavarians will not miss out on the title
this time around after a disappointing campaign previously, which saw Dortmund lifting the trophy.

“I'm utterly convinced we'll be successful in the second half of the season. We have to finish as champions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904. Bayern can miss out on the title once, but not a second time,” he was quoted as saying in an interview to the
club’s official website.
Nerlinger, who has played for both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, added that the Borussians are certainly emerging as a major force after they acquired Monchengladbach attacker, Marco Reus. He added that Jurgen Klopp’s side
has become a major title contender in the past few years and they will only become stronger in the future.
“BVB’s capture of Marco Reus means the time when Dortmund got away with underachieving is over, from this summer onwards at the latest. There’s a major title rival emerging, and I'm delighted about that,” he concluded.
The Bavarians were amongst the clubs willing to sign http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marco-Reus-c23733 from Borussia Monchengladbach this summer. There was widespread speculation that the Munich giants will target Reus and Mario Gotze to add strength to their already
strong squad. But it was revealed last week that the German international will be joining the current Bundesliga champions Dortmund once the campaign ends.
Bayern Munich will play the Indian national team on January 10 in the testimonial match of striker Baichung Bhutia. The match will be played at the Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.
