Nerve <span title="Damage????????????????????">Damage???????????????????...</span>

Question

So I smashed my finger about 1 week and 4 days (It was a Wednesday) and like 3/4 of the nail is black. At first the entire part around my the part where your finger print is and the tip was numb but it went away. But around the corner of the bottom it still is. How long will it take for this to go away. (I went to the doctor and he said it was fine but he didn't x-ray it)

You finger is numb because the nail will fall off. The nail is preparing itself to let go. it will grow back and there is nothing to worry about. I may take a while but you will lose that nail.
