i get it now and then. i haven't had it for the past 3 months but i used to have it on a regular basis and now it's back again. i have no clue how to fight it. i know it means i am stressed and it's true i feel VERY guilt-tripped by parents at the moment but I normally don't get it this strong, this feeling.

i can literally sort of feel it in my chest. it's a bit depressing, too.

please!!! help me know what this is and how i could combat it!!! do i need meds? who do I go to???

  1. It sounds like a panic attack.  A lot of people get them and deal with them as they arise, others take meds, so it depends on your preferences on how you want to handle it.  Your family physician can help you, should you decide to seek it.  Good luck!

  2. What happens is you're so used to self-scrutiny and pressure that your body doesn't know when to shut off the fight or flight mode.  Hence, the anxiety.  What you can take to combat it is a supplement called SAM-e, that you can get over the counter.  SAM-e is a chemical released in our brains when we are fine and dandy.  Taking this supplement will help you feel calm, not zombie, but chilled out, and you will be able to think clearly and not worry so much as before.  It really is a great thing when you feel like you have no control any longer.

  3. it's called anxiety disorder and you can get help. see your family doctor tell him how you are feeling. there is medication and counseling

  4. try finding the real reason u feel like this................otherwise there is no way out
