Nervous about babysitting!?

I get really nervous when ever I babysit this 7 year old autistic boy cause idk its just really hard to do and he always screams and crys for like 3/4 of the time when the parents leave and idk what to do!!!! I just get so nervous before cause im worried. :( And he also can't talk he just screams to get your attention. PLEASE HELP! And the mom always calls me and if you suggest that i should quit then tell me what to say to the parents! PLEASE HELP!

  1. Talk to the Parents. Tell them how you feel about the job. It seems like a really big thing to handle. Explain to them that you aren't comfortable with babysitting their kid, not because he is autistic, but because you don't know how to handle it. Tell them that he just screams and that you never know how to control him. Maybe they can talk to him and talk to you and explain things. Also maybe if you want to quit tell them that. Just explain that you aren't comfortable taking care of him because you are afraid that you will mess up and that it is a very hard job that you aren't sure you can handle. After you tell them that I'm sure they will understand because they have to live with him 24/7. Good Luck.
