Question:

Nervous about cross country tryouts.

ok so tomorrow in the morning I have cross country tryouts. I'm nervous. I havent ever run on a team before and everyone else has so I kinda feel like I'm gonna be the odd one out. How do I calm my nerves?

Any advice would help. Thanks!

  1. All you have to do is relax and try your best you cant be so nervus that you dont do good what helps me is... when ppl are watching me i do better so

    also breathing should be in through your nose out through your mouth ... so.. as long as you keep your same pace through it you should make the team and u shouldnt be then :)))) good luck!!


  2. There is absolutely nothing to worry about most likely you are not the only one who has never been on the team if it was meant to be it will happen for sure

  3. do something relaxing...listen to music, maybe go for an easy run, so something you enjoy...and nerves can be a good thing...the more nervous you are, the more adrenaline youll get, and thats always a good thing...xc is a great sport, lots of fun...good luck
