  1. You shouldn't be nervous! It's an amazing thing to see your little peanut and hear the heartbeat. Not sure what you can do to actually calm your nerves. Look more at the positives aspects of it. :-) Good luck!

  2. You can pray and ask God to take any fear away from you. Give this pregnancy over to Him and ask Him to give you peace. I wish you a wonderful pregnancy! :)

  3. Twins cannot be passed down through the father's side. Identical twins are spontaneous, and fraternal twins, if passed down, can only be through the mothers side because it is the tendency to ovulate 2 eggs that is inherited by generations of women in the same family. And then, even if you did inherit that tendency, you would have to ovulate 2 eggs in the cycle during which you get pregnant, AND both eggs would have had to be fertilized and successfully implanted. So running in your family alone doesn't guarantee anything.

But you just never know - there is always a chance. Just don't get your hopes up. And know that no matter how many babies there are, neither of you will be disappointed because what matters is that you made life together.

Good luck, enjoy seeing your baby! Don't be nervous - be excited! You will find out how far you are, and you will be able to see the heart beat. It is an awesome experience!

  4. Take a warm bath, lay down, and just chill.

  5. Thankfully number of babies isn't determined by either you or your husband! If you are meant to have twins, you will, and your husband will adjust to the idea and love them so much! If you're meant to have a singleton, you'll adjust to the idea and love that baby just as much!

No matter what, though, seeing the little heartbeat(s) on the screen tomorrow is going to be amazing! I think you guys will find yourselves not worrying about the quantity of babies, rather you'll be amazed at the little tiny life you've created together.

    Good luck!
