Question:

Nervous about soccer tryouts.....

Well, I'm 15 and going for Sophomore high school tryouts for soccer. I am so nervous, I don't even know why. I was on the B team last year, but I was one of our best, but I'm one of the smallest kids. I am the second fastest kid in the whole Sophomore/ Freshman squad. I play mid and defense, both left, although I'm a righty. I have tryouts Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, for five hours each day. Any help please, would be great, like little tips I can have. I've been practicing shooting every day, and dribbling, but I'm a defender/midfielder so doesn't really help much. Any advice/ tactics would be great.

  1. nervous??? you are such a girl

  2. Try focusing on the things that you do in your position.. I play middy... I practice passing.. and blocking the ball from other people... also try to ask a coach or something

  3. well since your a mid you should practice your juggling about 15 min a day because the mids always get the most touches on the ball and thats a plus and don't sweat it try your hardest and you want to be selfish so the coach can see your skills but not to selfish and hidrate alot and eat good the week of tryouts

    hope I could help
