I have an alg 2 final wednesday and I'm really nervous. I have an 89% overall right now and to only way to ace the class is if I ace this final. My teacher says last year many people did well, but I'm still nervous. I've started studying today, but I still feel unprepared. Any tips what I can do to cool down nerves/how to study?

  1. When you're revising, make sure to put in breaks. I get myself worked up and then sit there and think "oh man, i know nothing" and then I just can't understand anything, if I've had a break to calm myself down then I generally understand it afterwards.

People revise in different ways, find out which way is best for you. Some are visual, they like to draw ictures to remember and ut the info into spider diagrams, some can just read through the text, you can make notes in bullet points, you cna record yourself saying something and play it over.

As for all the stress, go for a run, it puts all that nervous energy into something. Anyway, if you're nervous at the start of the exam, you're going to have lots of adrenaline which is a plus in that situation.

Good Luck =) I hope this helped
