  1. Focus on each shot and don't look ahead even to the next point. Hit every shot with 100% concentration.

Also don't let you emotion take over. Just keep focusing on each shot and always think of the bigger picture. At change overs think of where you are going wrong and where you are going right and try and fix it. Also think of what you opponent is doing well and badly and think of ways to play on that to your advantage.

Good luck and remember that you play because you enjoy it and not because its a chore.

  2. Just don't worry about it soo much. Just go out there and be positive. If you are feeling a bit nervous just take a couple deep breaths and remind yourself that the world does not end if you lose the match.

Remember to have fun and stick to your game plan. Try to mix up your serves in the opening set so that he is unable to read the direction of the serve. This will keep him guessing from the onset of the match and therefore throw him off his game a little. Be aggressive and go after your shots. Don't let him get you into too many long rallies even if you excel in this department. Just always put the pressure on him and force him to win every point rather than you making an error and giving away cheap points.

And remind yourself that you beat him once, so you can most definitely do it again!!! Just stay positive, remain calm and relax!!! Just have fun!!!

Make sure you let us know what happens and Good luck!!!

  3. The best thing you can do is to NOT care whether you win or loose.  Just care about giving it your best shot.  Once you get over the "must win at all cost" feeling, you'll be able to relax and play your game (and stick to it when things don't go your way).

Ironically, the best way to win is to not care if you lose.  That takes the pressure off and allows you to play your best.

  4. The more you worry about it the worst it's going to be.  I'd just try to go out there and play your game, and not worry about who you're playing.  Just play your best and whoever is going to win will win.
