Nervous for 8th grade?

Question

i am going into 8th grade soon and im taking all 9th grade honors classes. but im extremely nervous about all the work im going to have to do. i know that i have to work harder because its honors and blah blah blah but is it really going to be that bad? i dont play a sport, although i am probably going to join cross country or try out for the swim team. so please just tell me if the classes are going to be difficult to manage. thanks

At some times yes. But you're taking 9th grade classes, so the teachers will treat you like high schoolers. A lot of work, but it pays off in the end. Just plan out your hw. When u do what and for how long. Finish all your assignments. Dont procrastinate. If you do a sport, you will be up longer, but sports are fun, so still do it.

Ha, don't sweat it! Since you're taking honors in 8th grade, you were probably an honors kid all your life. That means that you were always one grade ahead, so really, your honors classes are going to be another step on the staircase, not a leap :D

Plus, the material wasn't that hard. Work hard & you'll ace the regents.

definitely join the swim team. its alot of fun. and no, you'll be fine. theres a reason your in those classes, you can do it.
