  1. It's girls doubles, just go to the net and you will win, in addition to surprising everyone watching.  Best of luck!

  2. you'll do well.. u will see..

    just focus, be patient

    do your best.....

fight for every point like its match point

don't dwell on points u did not get

and don't dwell on the long deuce/advantage games that u did not convert

take chances when u make good shots, and be aggressive

  3. Singles puts more of an emotional toll on players. In doubles, some people blame their partner when they lose. Just breathe and relax. After points, go to your towel and take a minute to deep breathe and calm yourself down. Think of your motivation to win and go out there and play your best!!!! Don't be afraid to lose. Everyone loses sometimes. It happens.

  4. sometimes singles players don't translate well into doubles.  As for you lets hope that you do.

As far as the nervousness, you have to trust that bell is just as nervous as you

  5. Deep breathes girl. Do not allow yourself to be intimidated by "Bell", and just go out there and do what you do. You wouldnt be in the final if you and your partner werent worthy of being/getting there.

Do not allow yourself to play these head games, emotionally, within yourself prior to the match, instead think positively and think of what you can do to stop those 2. Now I prefer singles over doubles, personally, but try and lob when possible when both are at net,a nd follow into net yourself to try and put the volley away for a winner, or cause the error from them. Try as well, to hit low to their backhands when they are at net, and mix up the returns. Dont always return to the server, and sneak a down the line shot from time to time, but make sure your partner knows you are doing that so she can be erady to return, if it is returned. Good luck with the match! I have an Ultimate Tennis  semi match myself tomorrow.

  6. I use to play some pretty competitive doubles and what I figured out to help the most in ANY match is be positive with your partner.  Don't be nervous remain calm and always make sure you two are having fun. Don't get mad because that will only make your partner mad too and you'll both play poorly.  Any time your partner is getting upset try to motivate her positively and make sure she's having fun. Also serve and volley...try to peg someone that always makes them mad and gives you a good laugh
