Ive had a nervous twitch in my neck for quite some time now and i twitch when someone is behind me or if someone is looking at me (someone i dont know) and when i get nervous. It affects me a lot and its emerassing and i hate it a lot. Its affecting my social life and i would like to try and get rid of it.

Any help is appreciated. Ive been to my doctor multiple times nothing has solved it. He signed me up for this therapy where they made me do these workouts that worked out my neck which sorta helped but it never went away.

  1. I had a nervous twitch for a while. My head would jerk unusually to the side.

It was extremely embarrassing. I would think "don't twitch, don't twitch, don't twitch" and then I'd twitch.

I haven't twitched in sooo long. It used to be all I could think about when I was in public. It went away when I stopped thinking about it. Act as if you don't even have it. And when you think someone is staring at you, just look up and see if they are!! They may be looking behind you and if they ARE staring at you they'll look away.

I never actually went to the doctor, but I remember taking these "calming pills" from Wal-mart but I can't remember the name. They didn't work and just made me think of it more.

Good luck. I thought my prob would never stop. But it did

    :)
