Netgear router online status?

whenever i am on my xbox it flashes on the number 2 slot, and i was wondering if i could get rid of the flashing number so i can go on when im not supposed to.

most routers not only netgear have slots that flashes to symbolize that you are connected to the internet, the flashing means that it is streaming data across the web, you cannot turn it off, or else you cannot go online, i don't know what this have to do with you not been on though

you could use a dry erase marker and just black it out temporarily and when your done just wipe it off. it may not hide it completely but it might be just enough not not make it noticeable
