The former Bayern Munich boss has expressed confidence prior to his side’s 2014 World Cup qualifier against Victor Piturca’s men, though, the Dutch trainer has admitted that his side will not take the Romanians lightly.
Netherlands will lock horns against Romania in their upcoming 2014 World Cup qualification game at Arena Nationala on Tuesday, October 16.
Louis van Gaal, the Oranje head coach, has expressed confidence that his side will manage to emerge victorious against the Romanians, though, the veteran Dutch tactician has admitted that it will not be an easy task to bag all three points against an in-form
side.

Nonetheless, Van Gaal has expressed confidence that his side will be able to grind out a result in their favour.

Ajax boss was quoted as saying to journalist in the pre-match press conference.
The Flying Dutchmen, who are sitting at the top of the Group D due to better goal difference, have shown that they are the strongest attacking side in their group by netting nine goals in three games, while the Romanians have showed their class in defence,
as they have yet to concede a goal.
The veteran Dutch tactician, who started his professional coaching career at Ajax in the 1991/92 season, has admitted that the Tricolours are in fine form and are playing good football, but insisted that his troops are well prepared for the upcoming clash.
“However, Romania have been in fine form. They are very well organised and try and hit their opponents on the counterattack. We will be prepared for them, though”, Van Gaal concluded.
Netherlands and Romania’s game in Bucharest will commence at 20:00 CET.
