The German international admits that the game against the Dutch will not be a walk in the park for his side.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bastian-Schweinsteiger-c7374 has warned his side against complacency ahead of the crucial Group B tie against the Netherlands on Wednesday. The midfielder admitted that the team cannot afford any mistakes in the clash and has insisted
that a win would surely be vital in enhancing Germany’s chances to win the competition.
The Bavarian stressed that Holland will be under immense amount of pressure after losing the opening clash to Denmark. He added that the opposition will be determined to perform in the game to get a favourable result which could
go against his side.
Schweinsteiger claimed that Die Mannschaft have great quality in their ranks to down the Dutch and qualify for the knock-out stage of the competition. He assured of a good performance and is hopeful that his side will end the game
as the winning side.
“We know that Netherlands are under a lot of pressure but we will focus on ourselves, we want to win this match. Regardless of what happens, it will be a very tough game.  It will be a very difficult game for us but I'm convinced
we can make it. Situations in the past do not play any role for us,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, the German international revealed that he has had contact with his club teammate http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521 and admitted that there was a discussion regarding the game on Wednesday.
He also refused to comment on whether Robben would take a penalty for Oranje after missing from the spot in the UEFA Champions League final, claiming that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-Neuer-c23424 is a world-class goalkeeper who can deal with it.
“Of course we've had contact. I often exchange text messages with Arjen and Frank Ribery. Whether he takes a penalty, I don't know! That's for the Dutch team to decide. We have a good goalkeeper who can save penalties,” he concluded.
