In the ongoing Clydesdale Bank 40 tournament, Middlesex won their match against Netherlands by eight wickets on Monday, May 14, 2012, at Sportpark Westvliet, Voorburg.
The 40-over game was a high scoring match, where batsmen from both teams gave their best show to achieve superiority over the other by exhibiting some of the finest shots in modern-day cricket.

The bowling side then grabbed another wicket by dismissing Myburgh, who walked off the field after playing an exuberant innings of 66 runs. At the time of his wicket, Netherlands had amassed 118 runs on the board.
The side then went through a batting collapse, where the batsmen lost their wickets cheaply, consequently the team managed to pile 212 runs in 40 overs.
From Middlesex, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/PR-Stirling-c2200 was extremely difficult to play as the bowler incinerated the Dutch by bagging four wickets in his six overs.
With a stinging total ahead, Middlesex suffered a terrible start by losing their first wicket with only a run on the board.
