If not why? What should I be looking for?

Finally what is difference between that and the Microsoft one I could buy in GAME or Grainier Games?

  1. If you have a laptop, you can hook it up to your laptop... if you had to buy a wireless adapter i would buy it from microsoft. I myself hook up my xbox 360 to my laptop.. Well hope u get signed up!

  2. The official MS one is the ONLY one that will work on your 360.

  3. you could always buy this device and if it don't work bring it back within ten days and get a refund... I think they only make those xbox network adapters compatible plug and play like, if you could connect it to your router you'd be flying, i did it with my brothers and it worked, using a lan cable, u know the big chunky modem wires, autoconfigure and away you go

  4. that doesn't look very reliable tbh.. and it's bound to lag.

get the official one, or get a massive 50ft long ethernet cable such as i.

  5. apologies if ive got this wrong but that curry's one simply looks like an adaptor for a pc and not an xbox as ive seen them for £40-50.

i think the one shown is simply to plug into your nonwireless  enabled laptop or pc and then route it wirelessly through your router.

what my son did was buy a cable from maplins which cost around a tenner and simply wired direct to our router and did it that way cheap and works fine only down side is you have the cable.
