  1. i have the same problem

  2. right-click my computer icon.

click on COMPUTER NAME tab. Now see the name

near "Workgroup" . Note down in mind or on paper.

Do this on every networked computer.

When you've done, see which computer is not matching with your

    computer's workgroup name. Example :

Grag having 3 computers in network.

    First computer workgroup name: COBRA

    2nd .... workgroup name : Kamper

    3rd ... workgroup name : Shantanu

so , i would sit on any two computers and change the workgroup name to match to others. Like COBRA, COBRA , COBRA or Kamper , Kamper and Kamper.

Now when u've done doing this, check if you're using a manual switch.

If yes , Open My Network places icon on desktop. Now if you see "Show icons for networked UPNP Devices" in left side pane, then click on it. Now Windows will configure network settings and if asks for

Windows Setup C.D then insert it and show the path to required file by clicking on "Browse" button.

Now do same task in all computer "Show icons for....." go clicking and

    THEN

    Re-start all networked PCs.

    Do some pinging work.

and then goto My Network places, try, see if you see icons like "D on Shivam" or "C Drive (Zopice) on VistaLover" then

    Hurrrray ! You've done it !

    Byee. Thank me !
