Network hotspots

Question

I recently purchased a Gateway-T2330 Laptop-MT6728 and I am experiencing trouble gaining internet access at public hotspots. For example, at my school, which has campus-wide wireless internet, I connect to the internet, but my browsers will not connect and display access to the internet.
