Network maybe out of the range

Question

what would be the reason that my wireless could not connect into my network. "i get message network maybe out of the range". this is only after i paid tech at netgear to help me getting my router back on and working. he config the whole router. last week wireless worked fined. this week i had to reinstall windows xps and restep up my computer.
