The Germany international believes his former competitor for the goalkeeping spot in the national team is ready to return to the side if he continues impressing in the Bundesliga.

mark a comeback in the Germany side.
The former Bayer Leverkusen custodian is performing consistently at the Imtech Arena, and was in great form over the weekend, when he made a number of amazing saves as Hamburg registered a 1-0 triumph over Hannover.
Neuer believes his fierce rival can compete with him for the starting berth in Die Mannschaft team, as he has the potential and talent to play for Germany. Adler came in the DFB Eleven in 2008 and since then has played only ten
games, mostly as an understudy to the Bayern Munich goalie.

is a perfect candidate as he is a very experienced veteran.
"I think that Andreas Kopke [Germany's goalkeeping coach] and Joachim Low are watching him," Neuer was quoted as saying in an interview.
Die Roten keeper claimed that Adler has been brilliant with his new team, but the final decision is with the management. Moreover, he believes that Rene can stage a return in the national side successfully.
"He has shown some very good performances this season, but it remains the decision of the authorities. I trust Rene can make the step up to the national team," the former Schalke 04 player added.
"You never know what he can do. When Rene is fit, he is a very good goalkeeper," he finally concluded.
Furthermore, Der FCB player said that Rene is a fine goalie provided that he stays fit, and can always surprise you with his commitment for the team.
